Kelly Randolph

Kelly RandolphMy first experience with photography was in high school as a yearbook photographer. Everything was filmed based in those days as digital photography did not yet exist, and I became well acquainted with the process of developing film and creating prints with an enlarger. Those were fun days and I have many good memories from that time.

I left photography behind as I graduated from high school and moved forward with a career in healthcare. Many years later I decided to climb Mt Rainier, and I purchased my first DSLR to photograph that climb. A few years after this trip I met Steve Ellis, and my love for photography was re-ignited. Steve and I became good friends, and he helped re-orient me to photography in the digital age. I became an avid amateur shooting many thousands of photographs over the next 6 years of the Carter High School Marching Hornet Band. I loved this experience and I realized that I would always be involved in photography.

I was excited when Steve approached me about becoming a photographer with Crosslight Photo Mission. I was especially interested in the opportunity to utilize photography in ways that could bring happiness to others. I believe that true happiness is found when we use our talents to lift others up.

I enjoy working on the Crosslight Photo Mission team and the opportunity to help others.
