The Beginnings of Crosslight Photo Mission

The most common question we get asked is “what exactly is Crosslight? This is a fair question, but not one that is always easy to explain. The short answer is Crosslight Photo Mission’s goal is to use photography whenever and however we can to serve others, support ministries, and share the love of Christ. Crosslight started as a small team of three photographers, with the idea of providing family portraits to those who otherwise might not be able to afford one. Our hopes were to be able to expand beyond that simple goal and we did. Our team of photographers has since doubled and by working along side our volunteer support team members, we serve our community with our talents through direct photography ministry and in support of other ministries across different denominations. We have provided family portraits to over 100 underprivileged families – for some, the first and only prints to exist of their loved ones. We have also provided photographic coverage and support for local ministries and school portraits for developmentally challenged students when no other photographers were willing to take on the challenge. Our future plans include becoming a non-profit organization, increasing our team and working with a growing number of individuals and ministries which will allow us to share the love of Jesus in a tangible and personal way. If you would like to join us in our mission, we welcome you! There are many ways in which you can serve with CLPM. All prayers, for our continued guidance in our efforts, are greatly appreciated. Also, as we encounter more opportunities to serve, we will need more support team members, as well as corporate and individual sponsors to help us meet our operational costs. You can contact us at any time to find out more or use the Donate button at the bottom of each page to support us financially.
